IMPORTANT INFORMATION

The abstracts will be included in a book of abstract and distributed at the conference, if you send your payment by June 5th (or proof that you have done it). Your work will also become part of the program of the conference.

For those who have not send the paper and need a letter of acceptance to pay the conference, please ask the conference secretariat and they will provide a letter.

The papers will be uploaded in the CIGR database of proceedings as soon as we receive the payment of the conference. After the conference ends, we will bind togheter the papers in a electronic book you can browse.
This book will have an ISBN number so you can cite it in your future references.

You are also welcome to participate and present your work, without sending the paper. In this case your work will appear just in the book of abstract (no ISBN number) and you will have a chance to present it at the conference.
However, to include you in the program, we need your payment by 5th of june.

Instructions for O R A L presentation

EACH AUTHOR HAS A LIMIT OF 13 MIN. FOR THE PRESENTATION (10 min. for the presentation + 3 min. for questions and answers)

Please note that the “Presenter” must be registered in order to present the full paper.

1.) Presentation Requirements and Supported Formats

  • The Preview System (PC) supports the presentations made with the following tools (latest versions):
    • Microsoft Office Programs
    • Adobe PDF
  • The presentations prepared on a Macintosh need to be converted to be compatible with the Preview System (PC):
    • Please plan enough time in the preview room as the conversion of the files may be lengthy.
    • We do not guarantee that after the conversion of documents prepared with Keynote, the presentation will be completely identical, especially for the animations.
  • The Preview System (PC) supports the Standard Western Europe fonts. If the presentation contains special characters or need other fonts, they have to be provided by the speaker in the preview room.
  • The video files attached to the presentation must be located in the same folder as the presentation files.

2.) In the Preview Room

All Speakers must go to the preview room in order to upload their presentation and associated files, preferably the day before and at least 2 hours before the beginning of the session.
In the conference room the speaker will be able to check the presentation and, if needed, make slight modifications.
A team is available in the preview room to help the speakers in theses different steps.
The following mass storage devices are accepted:

No presentation can be uploaded on the conference room computer directly.
You must uploaded in the PREVIEW ROOM

The preview room is located at the first underground floor (-1).

Technical staff will be available in the preview room starting from Sunday, 23rd June, at 15:00 h.

3.) In the Conference Room

The equipment in the conference room is exactly the same as in the preview room.

The files uploaded in the preview room are automatically backed up and transferred without any modification to the conference room.

A technician is available before and during the presentation in the conference room to assist the speaker if required.

In the conference room, the following equipment is available:

  • 1 video projector
  • 1 computer (PC)
  • 1 lectern with microphone

Instructions for P O S T E R presentation

1.) Poster dimension must be 1,20 m (height) x 0,90 m (width) and should be brought by the presenter

No poster will be hung unless the registration of the presenter has been paid

2.) Each board will be numbered and it will correspond to the poster number in the programme.

Posters not included in the programme will be hung with no number

Posters should be hung on the 23rd June (from 15:00 to 18:00 h) or in the morning of the 2nd day (Monday, June 24).

Posters will remain up during all the congress.

3.) Posters should be dismantled at the end of the congress (from 14:00 on Wednesday, June26).

Any poster remaining will be discarded by the technical staff.
